Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Small white onions, peeled
  • 2 c. Thin white sauce
  • 1/2 c. packaged bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 3 T. melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook onions in boiling, salted water 20-25 minutes or until tender. Drain. Prepare white sauce.
  2. Place onions in baking dish. Pour white sauce over onions.
  3. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, butter; sprinkle over top/ Bake 400 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
