Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pecans (cut up)
  • 1 lb. dates, cut up
  • 4 eggs, separated (beat egg whites until whites are stiff)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 T flour (Sift with baking powder)
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 1 T vanilla
  • Array

Instructions

  1. 350 degrees preheated
  2. Sift flour with baking powder.
  3. In a separate, beat egg yolks and sugar.
  4. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
  7. Fold in dates, and then nuts.
  8. Bake 350°For 40 minutes.
  9. Serve topped with whipped cream.
