  • 1 t. soda
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 t. allspice
  • 1/2 t. nutmeg
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. cloves
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 t. lemon extract
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. small: 1 1/2 hour-2hr.
  2. large 2-3 hours
  • 4 c. flour
