Ingredients

  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • 1 c. Whole Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 T. Melted/Unsalted Butter

Instructions

  1. Heat cast iron popover pan containing 1/4 tsp. oil in each compartment.
  2. Heat pan in 450 degree oven until sizzling.
  3. While pan is heating, mix all ingredients into smooth batter.
  4. When pan is ready, fill cups 1/2 full with batter.
  5. Bake (no peeking) at 450° for 20 minutes.
  6. Lower oven temperature to 350 and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve with butter and jam asap.
