Pruett Family Turkey stuffing

Ingredients
- 4 boxes Mrs. Cubbison, seasoned (not cornbread stuffing)
- 2-12 oz Jimmy Dean sausage (I used one regular, 1 Firehouse hot)
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 4-5 c. celery
- 4 cubes butter
- 6-8 c. chicken broth
Instructions
- Crumble and cook sausage until browned. Turn off heat.
- To the sausage pot, add onion and celery.
- Melt 4 cubes butter. Toss butter lightly with bread crumbs.
- Gradually toss sausage mixture with bread crumbs. Toss, don't mix.
- Add chicken broth...again tossing lightly till fairly moist but not soggy or mushy..

For 28-32 lb. bird / 22 people

For a 26 pound bird this year I used 5 cups celery and 5 cups onion and five boxes of Mrs. Cubbison’s; 3 jimmy Dean sausages, and 4 cubes butter
