Ingredients

  • Ribs
  • Beer
  • Salt
  • Foil

Instructions

  1. My most current method:
  2. Cut rib racks in half.
  3. Wrap in foil with a bit of beer drizzled over an then salted.
  4. Seal foil tightly to steam but leave a little room for steam to form.
  5. Cook at 275°For 2 hrs.
  6. I have been cooking for 2 hours and then turning off oven and leaving them in for another 2 hours.
  7. Finish on BBQ(usually about 30 minutes).
  8. Baste with Mrs. Maddock's sauce or your favorite.
  9. Old method:
  10. In a roasting pan, place ribs on a rack.
  11. Cover bottom of pan with beer and water.
  12. Cover w/ foil tent.
  13. Bake 45 minutes at 250.
  14. BBQ 45 minutes max over medium heat.
  15. Separate coals(no direct heat.
  16. Baste last 15 minutes.
