Bulgogi with sauce

There is a little place in Walnut California called “My Lunch Spot” and it is very close to Donna Machado’s work. We have met there several times.

I tried the Bulgogi and told her I loved it and the owner gave me this recipe!  It is in proportions.

Ingredients

  • 1 part soy

  • 2 parts water

  • 1/2 pineapple juice or pear apple juice

  • 1 part sesame oil (to taste)

  • garlic powder

  • Sliced beef, medium thin

  •  

Instructions

  1. marinate meat overnight, and then using your cooktop, cook the meat on medium low until the liquid is gone and then turn it to high to caramelize it.

  2. note: you can add sugar to the sauce if you think it's not sweet enough

  • 1 part soy
