Ingredients

  • 3 ¾ cups C&H Powdered Sugar (this is roughly 1 box or 1 lb)

  • ½ cup (1 stick) Butter, room tempurature

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons Milk or Cream

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream the Butter: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer at low speed until smooth.

  2. Combine: Gradually add the (Sifted) powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and salt

  3. Whip: Beat at medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes until the frosting is light and creamy.  

  4. Adjust: If it's too thick, add more milk (one teaspoon at a time). If it's too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.
