Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. beef chuck roast
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/4 c. vinegar (oops I forgot to add this, but it was fantastic)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper

Instructions

  1. Place meat in a slow cooker.
  2. Top with onions.
  3. Combine other ingredients.
  4. Pour over meat.
  5. Cover.
  6. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  7. Remove meat from broth and onions.
  8. Shred meat.
  9. Serve meat on hamburger buns topped with the cooked onions.
  10. Serve broth on the side for dip.
