Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Brown Sugar
- 1/4 c. Molasses
- 1 Egg
- 2 1/4 c. Flour
- 2 t. Baking Soda
- 1/4 t. Salt
- 1 t. Ginger
- 1 t. Cinnamon
- 1/2 t. Cloves
Instructions
- Cream together shortening, brown sugar, molasses, egg.
- Sift together dry ingredients and then mix with creamed mixture.
- Form into balls, roll in white sugar.
- Bake at 375°For 12 minutes.
