Instructions

  1. Press in 9 x 13 pan:
  2. 2 c. sifted flour
  3. 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  4. 1 c. softened butter
  5. Dash of salt
  6. Bake at 350 - 20-25 minutes until lightly brown
  7. Filling:
  8. Beat 4 eggs
  9. Mix 2 c sugar and 1/3 c. lemon juice or the juice of one large lemon
  10. Add: 1/4 c. flour
  11. 1/2 t. baking powder
  12. 1/2 t. grated lemon zest
  13. Pour over warm crust and bake at 350 for 25 minutes
  14. Sprinkle with powdered sugar
