Ingredients

  • 1 c. Shortening
  • 1 c. White Sugar
  • 1 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1 t. Vanilla
  • 2 Beaten Eggs
  • 1 c. Peanut Butter
  • 3 c. Flour
  • 1/8 t. Salt
  • 2 t. Baking Soda

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla.
  2. Add eggs, beat thoroughly.
  3. Stir in peanut butter, then dry ingredients.
  4. Form into balls, flatten with a fork dipped in water or flour to keep fork from sticking to dough.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes.
