Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon... dry active or rapid rise yeast (1/2 teaspoon fresh yeast)
  • 2 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 5 cups bread flour
  • 4 teaspoons kosher salt
  • cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Bloom the yeast in the warm water for 5 minutes
  2. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until it comes together.
  3. Knead by hand for 7 minutes (more if needed)
  4. Split dough into 4.
  5. Line 4 bowls with olive oil. Form each dough section into a ball by pinching sides along bottom. Dip the top into the bowl to get oil on it, then place into bowl seam side down.
  6. Cover with saran and let rise 2-3 hours.
  7. Make sure your pizza stone is in the oven and pre-heat to 550°.
  8. Top with desired sauce/cheese/toppings!
  9. Bake 7-9 minutes!
