Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 t. sugar
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3/4 c. warm water
  • 3 T. shortening

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Dissolve yeast in water, add to dry ingredients with melted shortening.
  3. Mix until smooth and elastic.
  4. Roll to 1/2inch thick, cut with floured cutter.
  5. Place in well greased pan.
  6. Let rise until doubled in size.
  7. Bake at 425°For 20 minutes.
  8. Makes: 1 dozen
