“While Dinner is Cooking” Buns

Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 t. sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 3 T. shortening
Instructions
- Sift flour, sugar, and salt.
- Dissolve yeast in water, add to dry ingredients with melted shortening.
- Mix until smooth and elastic.
- Roll to 1/2inch thick, cut with floured cutter.
- Place in well greased pan.
- Let rise until doubled in size.
- Bake at 425°For 20 minutes.
- Makes: 1 dozen
