Ingredients
- 30 to 35 Medium sized cucumbers
- 8 Large White onions
- 2 Large Sweet peppers
- 1/2 C. Salt
- 5 C. Cider Vinegar
- 5 C. Sugar
- 2 T. Mustard seed
- 1 t. Tumeric
- 1/2 t. Cloves
Instructions
- Wash cukes and slice as you wish.
- Chop onions and peppers; combine with cukes and add salt.
- Let stand 3 hours then drain.
- Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in large preserving kettle, bring to a boil.
- Add drained cukes; heat thoroughly but DO NOT boil.
- Pack in sterilized jars and seal at once.
