Ingredients

  • Oil cooking spray

  • 1 oz. cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 T. mayonnaise

  • 5 jalapeno pepper(s)

  • 1/3 cup(s) panko

  • 1 Tbsp. Grated parmesean

  • Finishing salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F, use convection or air fryer if you have it.

  2. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese and mayonnaise; mix well and set aside.

  4. Halve jalapenos lengthwise and remove seeds and veins.

  5. Stuff jalapeno halves with cream cheese mixture.

  6. Mix Panko and parmesean in shallow dish, flip jalapeños into Panko mixture, it should stick to cheese mixture. Place Panko side up onto baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Coat tops with cooking spray.

  7. Bake until filling is bubbly and tops are golden, about 20 minutes.

  8. Serve hot.

Notes: You can prepare the poppers a day in advance and place them on a covered baking sheet in the fridge. Cook as directed when ready to eat or cook the poppers in advance and then reheat in the microwave.
