Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 6 T. Butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 t. Baking powder

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff, set aside.
  2. In mixing bowl combine dry ingredients.
  3. In separate bowl, beat milk, egg yolks and melted butter together.
  4. Add to dry ingredients.
  5. Beat until batter is smooth.
  6. Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
  7. Bake until brown and crisp (about 4 minutes.)
