Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 t vanilla
  • about 2 T light cream

Instructions

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Gradually add about half the sugar and blend well.
  3. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla.
  4. Gradually beat in remaining sugar.
  5. Add enough cream to make it a spreading consistency.
  6. You can frost two 8 or 9 inch layers
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 t vanilla
  • about 2 T light cream
