Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 t vanilla
- about 2 T light cream
Instructions
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add about half the sugar and blend well.
- Beat in egg yolk and vanilla.
- Gradually beat in remaining sugar.
- Add enough cream to make it a spreading consistency.
- You can frost two 8 or 9 inch layers
