Ingredients

  • Mix:
  • 4 c. green apples, coarsly chopped
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • Combine and add:
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Frosting:
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 to 1 lb powdered sugar (I use 1/2)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Follow recipe as set out.
  3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or 325 if glass pan (greased).
  4. Combine frosting ingredients and frost when cooled.
