Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 T. water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 c. quick oats
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Beat first set of ingredients
  2. Mix in second set of ingredients
  3. Bake 350.
  4. Not sure on time check at 10 minutes and go from there.
  5. Don't cook too long.
  6. You want them crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle
