Ingredients

  • 6 small new or red potatoes, scrubbed, and halved, lengthwise
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese
  • garlic powder
  • other seasonings to taste (or you can use seasoned salt)
  • Array

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Melt butter and pour into 9 x 13 baking dish
  3. Generously season buttered dish with parmeson and seasonings.
  4. Place potatoes cut side down on buttered pan with seasonings.
  5. Bake 40 minutes.
  6. Cool for at least 5 minutes before removing the potatoes OR the seasonings and Parmesan will not stick to the potatoes
  7. Serve on a plate with beautiful cut side up; may serve with sour cream.

    You can fill the cookie sheet with halved potatoes without adding more butter, just don’t have them touch each other. You can use any type of potato but if large, slice into smaller sections.
