Refried Beans

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. canola oil
- 40 ounce can of beans
Instructions
- Heat salad oil 1/2 cup or 1/2 inch (depending on pan) for a 40 ounce can of beans
- Make it very hot.
- Drain the beans and reserve the liquid.
- Add the beans to the hot oil and stir it, frying the beans as in refried...
- Then after a bit, use a potato masher and mash the beans...you can add some of the liquid back in at the end if they are too dry or to the consistency you like (appx. 1/2)
- 1/2 c. canola oil
- 40 ounce can of beans

I use much less oil. Just cover the bottom of the pan!
