Snickerdoodles
Mary Margaret Sunker is a “bestie” of Mary Ann Laun. She used to make these cookies for her son’s golf team and they were an all-time favorite!

Ingredients
1 cup butter softened
1 ½ cups white sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons white sugar
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cream together butter, 1 ½ cups sugar, eggs, vanilla.
Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt
Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls
Mix together 4 T white sugar and 4 teaspoons cinnamon. Put into a baggie
Drop balls of dough one at a time into the baggie mixture and coat
Place on parchment paper And Bake 8 minute until set but not too hard.
Remove immediately from baking sheets
