Ingredients

  • Cream:
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream with t. of baking soda mixed in cream
  • Add:
  • 1 t. lemon
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 2 t. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Add enough flour to stiffen dough (about 3 1/2 cups)
  2. Chill dough.
  3. Roll out and cut. Sugar tops with white or colored sugar.
  4. Bake 375 on ungreased cookie sheets 8-10 minutes
