Ingredients

  • Three 6 lb. Lean, Baby Back Ribs
  • BBQ Sauce of choice
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Day l Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Place slabs in heavy roaster w/lid.
  3. (DO NOT season, DO NOT add liquid.) Cover roaster and bake 1/2 hour.
  4. Turn oven down to 350 to 375 and continue to cook, covered, for 2 to 3 hours (depending on pounds of ribs).
  5. Test rib to make sure very tender but NOT falling off bone.
  6. After baking is complete, drain off the liquid.
  7. Carefully remove slabs and place in a 9 x 13 baking pan or large rimmed dish.
  8. Salt & pepper lightly and carefully slather BBQ sauce over both sides.
  9. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil and refrgerate overnight.
  10. Day 2
  11. Heat BBQ grill to 450 degrees and grill both sides, basting with sauce and turning occasionally to keep from burning.
  12. Total time...10 to 15 min.
  13. Serve with additional sauce.
